The LimCofPeru producers are located in strategic areas with conditions ideal for growing high-quality coffee. In 2021, LimCofPeru COOP has been recognized nationally and internationally for taking social, economic and environmental responsibility. The COOP contributes to the sustainable development of their partners and offers high quality coffees from the Peruvian northeast. As the majority of Peruvian farms the COOP farmers use natural shade to promote healthy ecosystems and preserve indigenous forests by providing sanctuary for local bird populations. In turn the bird populations help control pests and insects, and help farmers avoid a reliance on chemicals and pesticides.
