A special Organic certified, SHG, Swiss Water Process Decaf. Medium bodied, flavors of cocoa and almond, mild acidity and a sweet finish make this coffee easy to enjoy throughout the day and into the evening. In addition to brewed coffee, Organic Decaf Peru produces a shot of Espresso that is sure to please! Also recommended enjoying it as a drip coffee or even as a cold brew.

The Swiss Water® Process, 100% chemical free decaffeination process, uses pure green coffee extract and proprietary carbon technology to remove caffeine from green coffee beans. The process removes 99.9% of caffeine during the SWP decaffeination, all done with Pure Water! Using this method of caffeine extraction allows the beans to maintain the original taste components. When quality coffees are selected and processed in this manner it is a “Winning Formula”! We continue to be impressed by the quality of this SWP Decafs.

Strictly High Grown (SHG) Coffee is defined as coffee grown above 1,200 meters (4,000 feet). Coffee beans grown at higher elevations are typically sought after because the higher elevations mean slower bean development, resulting in more nutrients being delivered to the coffee and therefore a more nutrient-dense bean. More nutrient density means more flavor and healthy organic compounds in the coffee.
