Thanks to the many suggestions of our passionate and curious Customers we created our version of the French Roast Coffee, redefining what a classic French Roast style can be. Made of 100% Arabica beans, from Africa and South America, this blend is the silky version of a very dark coffee, intense and bold, smoky but never burned, revealing notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts with a slightly sweet and nutty finish.

“French Roast” describes the color of the coffee beans after they have been roasted. These interesting beans are on the darker end of the scale, and are usually the color of dark chocolate.  The name is believed to reflect the tastes and traditions of coffee roasters in Europe in the 19th century, where dark-roasted coffee was all the rage, and the French proudly took the honors as the darkest roast of all.
